¹² Then he attacked and destroyed all the other cities of those kings. All the people were slaughtered, just as Moses had commanded long before. ¹³ (However, Joshua did not burn any of the cities built on mounds except for Hazor.) ¹⁴ All the loot and cattle of the ravaged cities were taken by the Israelis for themselves, but they killed all the people.
